How do I use it?

Your general practitioner will decide whether you would benefit from allied health services (see allied health services). Your general pracitioner prepares a GP Management Plan and will refer you to a service provider. If a provider accepts the Medicare benefit as full payment for the service, there will be no out-of-pocket cost. If not, you will have to pay the difference between the fee charged and the Medicare rebate.
