When the alarm is activated via the pendant or the central alarm unit, it contacts the 24/7 monitoring centre, putting the user in contact with a trained care consultant who will aid the user by carrying out their direct request or assessing the situation and determining what action needs to be taken; such as contacting a family member or friend, after-hours doctor, or emergency services. BlueCare's consultant will stay on the line until help arrives.
